Favorite car I've owned

The Bottom Line: A wonderful value and great styling!
I got this car brand new in 2005. It is now 3 years old with 30k miles and it really feels like new.
I went to the Acura dealer on a complete whim. I'd had an Accord I was less then happy with, I'd had a wonderful Accord prior but the second was sort of a lemon, I guess. I got all my vehicles brand new, too, and care for them well. I went to Acura because I'd had good luck with Honda Financing and new they could easily take me for an Acura. Anyway, the second Accord had had several minor but pricey issues before 30-35k miles and one day I was just sick of it. I liked the look of the TL and went to see it. It was a little too expensive for me, and the salesman suggested the TSX saying he actually liked it better for whatever reasons. I wasn't crazy about the exterior, I thought it looked like a Civic (which I no longer think that at all.) I test drove it and loved it. I ordered one a few days later!
I've had no troubles--and I hesitate to write this, knock on wood--with this car. Only minor maintenance type of stuff and regular oil changes. Oh, I take that back. I do remember the console lid was installed crooked at the factory and didn't always close properly. However, this was under warranty and the dealer was quick to fix it.
Some comments on the features:
- I like XM radio and I appreciate having this in-dash.
- Seat heaters are a nice plus here in Chicago, or even if you have a sore back on a long drive, and they work quickly and get hot
- The dash and interior lights are pleasing, unlike some other sporty sedans and their devil-red glow
- Rear defroster works super fast
- Accelerates quickly, easy to zip around
- Size is great for parallel parking. Not too long, but not like you're in a compact car when you're inside
My only complaint would be the road noise, I wish it was quieter.
