The Perfect Magazine For Your American Girl!

My daughter received a subscription to the American Girl Magazine for her 10th birthday and she absolutely looks forward to each and every issue. This magazine is not your "run of the mill" magazine geared towards children - this is a top quality, wonderful magazine for girls over the age of 8 or so.

American Girl contains wonderful articles dealing with such topics as: creating crafts; cooking ideas; fashion tips; decorating a room and much, much more. My daughter spends hours with each & every issue of this magazine reading it from cover to cover. This magazine, which is bi-monthly - contains absolutely no advertisements! The photographs and graphics in this magazine are amazing - very modern.

I love the fact that the American Girl Magazine deals with issues which effect pre-teens. My daughter enjoys using recipes from this magazine and has created many delicious side dishes and desserts for the family. She also loves the neat craft projects included with each article - they are challenging, yet not too difficult or time consuming.

Another big plus with the American Girl Magazine is that each and every issue contains a Paper Doll. This Paper Doll is fashioned from a real girl in the same age range as my daughter. Included with these paper doll usually are accessories such as an outfit, etc. My daughter has collected paper dolls since she has been very young, and the paper dolls from this magazine are her absolute favorites.

I highly recommend the American Girl Magazine for any girl over the age of 8 or 9. This is the perfect magazine for children too young for the magazine geared towards teens - such as "Teen People", "Tiger Beat", "Teen Beat", etc. This would be a great gift to give a child for their birthday or other special holiday.
