Abba Arrives as an International Supergroup

Date of Review:  Apr 26, 2005
The Bottom Line: Abba is a slice of mid-to-late '70s pop with some bubblegum and disco overtones.

ABBA's Arrival: Cheesy and affectionately flawed!

Date of Review:  Dec 2, 2007
The Bottom Line: ABBA is a talented group and while Arrival is not their best its still very much worthwhile and entertaining.
Review: ABBA was a sensation in the seventies and rightfully so. Their gorgeous harmonies, almost always interesting arrangements and knack for creating an addictive hook is obvious to all. Of course, there will be the deniers who dismiss them as disco...

Diggin' the Dancing Queen

Date of Review:  Sep 16, 2002
The Bottom Line: Some great songs here, but also lots of filler. Casual fans should stick with "Gold". Serious collectors will want it though.
Review: ABBA had a hit with "Waterloo", but with their appropriately titled "Arrival", they really... arrived. The album contains several of their biggest hits: the classic "Dancing Queen", "Knowing Me, Knowing You", "Money, Money, Money", and "When I...

Why Abba became international pop giants

Date of Review:  Sep 21, 2000
Review: When Arrival arrived at the record stores around the world, it was Abba's most mature pop album to date. It features several of Abba's classic hit songs on it, from "Dancing Queen" to "Money Money Money." Overall, it is considered one of Abba's...
