Product Review

The truth about collector.

by   bks143224 ,   Jul 30, 2003

Pros:  A lot of pros

Cons:  A few cons

The Bottom Line:  I always buy it for one main reason, and that is to check out the pokemon price guide, since I do collect pokemon cards.

Overall Rating: 3/5 stars

Author's Review

The beckett pokemon collector is a pretty good magazine, although regreatfully the not only changed their name but also their format. It is now called the beckett pokemon and anime collector. This means that now this publications is no longer to devoted to pokemon. Now they have added other price guides to, and furthermore; They have increased the price per issue by about $1.00 more per month. Now they do still have a guide for pokemon cards. And at last check the charizard first edition in mint is still under $100.00 I believe that also includes the high side of the price guide. -:( They do also include for all of us die hard pokemon gamers, and people who wished they were on tv, updates about certain episodes every month which is always nice :). Here lately they have been includeing in some issues a little piece of a walk-through for pokemon ruby and sapphire.
