The Good,The Bad, The Ugly on the 965!

I have used Beltronic radar detectors for 10 years or so now because we all know, they are the very best money can buy! I switched from the Vector 985 to the Vector 965 only because of the "pop" mode addition and a few electronic up dates. Well, no one (so far) in Ohio is using the "pop" mode that I have found so this option is not really necessary. With the heavy use of laser and RF/Hold(Instant on)in all bands, mainly X Band by Ohio State Patrol, why would any officer waste time with the "pop" mode? The "pop" mode falses a lot. The X,K,Ka bands false way to much as well! The mute is not good either. It beeps a long time before the mute "kicks" in. I loved the "clicking" mute on your older units that "kicked in" after two beeps. I love everything about this detector BUT, read my cons.
