Bissell Featherweight Stick Vacuum

This is a terrific little vacuum. It is lightweight and very easy to use. The edger makes it easy to get into corners. The floor attachment keeps wood floors from getting scratched.

I bought this so that I can clean up small messes and dog hair quickly. My other vacuum is a professional carpet floor cleaning unit made by Host and works great but it is a big heavy unit. This lightweight little vacuum makes keeping floors clean a breeze.

The suction on this vacuum is surprisingly strong for such a lightweight unit. I really am impressed with how quickly it can clean up messes like popcorn, dog hair, cereal and other disasters. You can actually use it on carpeted areas although there is no beater bar. I use mine to clean the wool entry rugs. I have 3 boys and a dog; messes are a normal part of my life.

The unit is bagless and there is a filter. Bagless is great, there is no additional expense other than the filter. The filter is a breeze to change and they are not expensive. You can buy them just about anywhere.

The Bissell Featherweight is a very inexpensive vacuum and a good value for the money. I use mine daily and although I have only had it a short time it appears to be quite durable.
My only issue with this vacuum is that I wish it had a longer cord. My kitchen is large and it would be nice if I could reach the entire kitchen, dining room and utility room without having to keep switching outlets. Not a big deal, it’s a pet peeve of mine.

Overall this vacuum is a fantastic value for the money. For small apartments, dorms or condos it cannot be beat. It is also great for small quick cleanups when you do not want to break out “the beast” vacuum that most of us own.
