A must for high school and college students

Date of Review: Nov 30, 2000

The Millionaire Next Door is not a book on how to create wealth, but its facts are surprising.

America today has a problem with spending and debt, and I recommend that, particularly, younger people read this book.

I know this isn't an in-depth review, but if you can grasp the overall perspective of this book when you're young you will live a much better and more relaxed adult life.

One warning: don't think that you can never buy nice cars, houses or clothing--if you have the money. Take the authors' findings objectively. If you can comprehend the philosophy (or, fact) that is being conveyed you will be able to used judgement and discern when making purchases and planning a budget.
