Bugaboo Cameleon is perfect for urban living

We needed a stroller that could do everything. We're in a 1BR in downtown DC so we don't have the luxury of different strollers for different occasions. We also don't have the space for a stroller and a standalone bassinet - so the fact that the Bugaboo Cameleon carriage doubles as a bassinet was perfect for us. We'd read a review that someone's baby preferred the Bugaboo to their "proper" bassinet, so that sealed the deal for us. Our baby is now almost four months, and we're finally graduating her to her crib - but the bassinet served us extremely well. We also have valued the carseat option - and we used this for touring the streets of DC (we only used the carriage for the special occasion of our baby's Christening). We like that the Bugaboo Cameleon will take our baby from infancy up to 40lbs (4 years? let's hope). So this is definitely a large ticket purchase - but we have found great value in it - and as a result have not had to purchase other items. (As an aside, we never did find a standalone bassinet that we would have liked more. And the rockability of the Bugaboo Cameleon bassinet is an extra plus that we discovered as first-time parents!)
