Author's Review

Burn to shine is another example of the amazing talent Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals have to express beautiful soulful music. After seeing the video for please bleed and being impressed by previous music released by the band I was curious to know what the latest edition to Ben Harper's already solid line of Music releases was going to be like. After buying the CD and being completely blown away by the quality of the musicians and Ben's guitar skills, i decided it was probably the best purchase i have ever made. Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals breaks away from the teeny bopper pop that has taken over and polluted the music industry, there non conformist songs such as Alone and The Two Hands of Prayer make you remember what real music was like before the influx of bands such as The Spice Girls and Steps. This album caters for those over the age of 15 who have disovered there is life after S club 7. A recommended purchase for anyone who enjoys real music with meaning or anyone sick of the current pop music that all sounds the same anyway
