The Bottom Line: A great universal lens for both APS-C and Full Frame (35mm). There are faster lenses, but this one offers great performance for a somewhat moderate price.

The perfect lens for the canon Eos 5D

The Bottom Line: Recommend strongly for Canon EOS full frame cameras. Perfect combo for the EOS 5D. Fast autofocus, effective image stabilization, and superb image quality.

Perfect walk-around lens

The Bottom Line: This is a great quality lens that will last you. Great zoom range and great optics.

Review: This is really a fine lens among zooms in spite of its high distorsion. The latter has a relatively favourable pattern and is correctible with Photoshop. There is no DxO plug-in as yet. The sweet spot is near 50mm as one may expect.
