I find Catholic Digest informative and entertaining

Yes, the format of Catholic Digest is very similar to Reader's Digest, but the actual content is not. I am a Catholic (converted 18 years ago) who enjoys reading the articles that specifically help me understand my Catholic faith.

Sean Patrick is my favorite regular writer, because he brings his growing up years to life for me--a life that I didn't experience in the same way. He talks about the pre-Vatican life of growing up in a parish.

Another author I look forward to reading is Bill Dodds. He presents thought-provoking quizzes that are also fun to read and informative on a wide-range of topics related to the Catholic life.

I read Reader's Digest, too, for articles on a variety of topics that are helpful for everyday life, but I read the Catholic Digest to help me to grow in my faith and be inspired to do more myself.
