Author's Review
I purchased a cherry red chevy tahoe three years ago from a used car dealer, it had 55,000 miles on it, and i've put 30,000 more miles on it. This tahoe is the most dependable vehicle i have ever owned, It is also stylish, and it can get up to high speeds very quickly. It has enough cargo room to fit your whole family in there, and a mountain of luggage. It also has a very secure on road feel with little to no interuption due to large bumps or ruts in the road. However, there a few design quirks. I find the driver window buttons to be a bit of a stretch for me. The cupholders are also very weird to use. The seats are outstandingly comfortable, with excellent support, and a firm, yet cushioned feel. The quality of this vehicle has been amazing, nothing on the interior has given me any problems. I have just recently experienced 4 wheel drive problems though, the shifter cable for the trnasfer case went bad. That only cost me 63.00, so it wasnt that pricey, or that major of a problem. The tahoe can be hard to get into because it does sit high on the road, which while driving is a godd thing, because you can see over all of the minivans. It also feels very safe when your driving, with secure on road handling, and an excellent highway cruising experience. I drove my tahoe from florida, up to New York, then down to delaware, and there were no problems, and it performed flawlessly. However, in wet weather, without 4 wheel drive, the rear axle might slip a little bit, and the tires may spin when you hit the gas to a certain extent, but it is nothing to be worried about unless you are going above 45 mph. I originally was planning on buying a large truck, then i saw the prices, and i didnt like the designs. So i looked at an older suv, and i found the tahoe just right for towing, hauling, and comfort on long trips. The tahoe is a very reliable, and practical vehicle, with very few minor detail flaws, I would gladly recommend this vehicle to anybody.
