The Cargo Doors Can Be Used for More than a Stroller
Pros:
Comfortable ride up front, room and might to haul major cargo.
Cons:
Wish they would have done the third seat in this one.
The Bottom Line:
A great combination of family vehicle and cargo hauler.

Author's Review
I bought my Tahoe for the same reason a lot of people do. I had more kids to haul and wanted to drive something more fun than a minivan. Okay, I admit it. I'm just not ready to throw in the manly towel and drive a minivan.
For the first year, I mainly used the truck to haul around kids and gear. It's a comfortable ride and has surprisingly nice climate control and stereo. It's a very nice ride, for any kind of vehicle. A few big pluses are the cargo doors, which allow easy loading and unloading and the tight turning radius, which happens to be tighter than many small cars.
Over the past year, I've been doing a lot of construction around the home and some landscaping out back. I've been building retaining walls, laying tile, flagstone, etc. The role of the Tahoe has changed quite a bit. An average weekend run can have a few hundred pounds of lumber on the roof rack and a thousand pounds of cement block and masonary cement in the back. A whole new truck emerges and it's even better than the one I bought.
Don't be afraid to put a tarp over the nice carpeting in back and pile in the materials. This truck can haul the weight and the cargo doors and height of the truck make for quick loading and unloading. The roof rack is functional, if you know how to tie a few truckers knots.
This is a truck I'd recommend for someone who has both family needs and also needs to haul around construction materials once in a while.
The only thing missing in this year's model is the third seat.
