This navigation unit does the job, but I wouldn't say that it is better than the navigation I have in my Acura TL. First of all, you can have the navigation map display points of interest like ATM's, gas stations, and restaurants, but what good does that do if you can tap icon, and display its information? My TL's navigation allows me to tap the icon, then set my destination too that particular place of business. Not having that feature really bugs me, and this is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Also, when you have reached your destination you have to cancel the route. It doesn’t just go away by itself. That also bothers me. It would also be nice if this unit could work with some type of satellite radio nav traffic, but it doesn’t as of yet. The picture quality is excellent, especially when in 3D mode. If this is your 1st navigation unit, and you have never experienced anything better, then the problems that I explained earlier-- I guess won't bother you. The MAX675VD unit that goes with it is excellent; I have no complaints about that.
