Very good basic or back up seat

I recently bought this car seat for my youngest son, and I really love it. I have an older model that is my older son's and while they are basically the same this one is some what better.

The colors a basic and vary from store to store (Wal*mart has the tan plaid/black and Target has the navy blue plaid on navy blue model)I purchased the Target blue one because I wanted a solid dark pattern.

What I like:

The cost: At $40 dollars you can't beat that with a stick. As I said it is a very basic seat which means you get what you pay for, BUT as far as cheapo seats go this is the best I have seen as far as being user friendly and durable.

Easy install: I did not use LATCH so that I cannot speak on but the seat belt install took about 5 minutes if that and it's just as tight as my Britax.

four different seat belt heights, rear (5 to 35 lbs) and forward facing(20 to 40 lbs)

I also like the fact its rearfacing to 35 lbs

The only real con is that adjusting the seat straps can take a little getting used to... for example one side may pull out farther than the other and you have to take the extra time to get them back even which may even include uninstalling the seat to do so, but again no big deal for $40.
