The best booster seat we found!

When we heard about the new booster seat law, we new that our little toddler would be needing another seat before too long. So I started my quest to find the perfect car seat for him. I read all the information I could on the different car seats and narrowed my choices down. I then went to toys r us and baby deopt (burlington) to let him try them out. I was not impressed with many of the seats. They did not to seem to have any padding to them at all! I also wanted to have the arm rests and found that there were only a couple that let you retract them. (The Summit being one of them!) He immediately loved the seat! I loved the fabric, the head rest that you could move to fit your childs' stage, and the cup holder that you can adjust! The Summit also had 3 reclining positions that he loved so he could get comfy and sleep easier! I also liked the new buckle system. I know that some people have complained about the buckle being harder to use, but it is that way for a PURPOSE! My little guy can't undue the buckle and I'm so thankful for that! I know he's snug tight back there when I'm driving!

Just realized that I'm getting ahead of myself! After realizing he loved the seat, I shopped around for the best deal and found Burlington Coats (Baby Depot) had the seat on sale for $99.99. So we jumped on it! When we got it home, their was nothing to put together. We just put it immediately into our car and used the Tether. (But it did come with the Latch too!)

The other reason we purchased this seat was the guides for the seat belt. We had read on Consumer Reports that the new guides are the safest! And that's really important for our little man! They are so easy to adjust! I hope all the manufacturers take a look and start making there seats with these guides too.

The only negative thing that we've found is that the belts do twist, but I find that if I quickly straighten them after he gets out they don't twist!

I would definitely recommend this product! It is good until 100lbs. (which I doubt he'll be at 8!) Don't settle for a cheap car seat when you can have a luxury seat that is incredibly safe for only $100!
