The Bottom Line: It kept crashing every 10-15 minutes. Gaming mode made little difference. Range and signal strength were below average.

HORRID PIECE OF MACHINERY

The Bottom Line:

I recommend that the D-Link WBR-2310 be scrapped and recalled; and the makers sued and reported to the Better Business Bureau and every other agency deals with such companies.

Review: HORRID is an understatement for this particular router.  Try NETWORKING NIGHTMARE and even that doesn't describe it adequately.  When I think of the D-Link WBR-2310 I shiver.

My network includes seven (7) desktops, a number of laptops...

Worthless as an Access Point

The Bottom Line: Good 4-port router - worthless as a wireless Access Point because the wirelss signal will not stay up for more than one or two days.
Review: I bought the WBR-2310 router to extend my existing wired network and to use as an Access Point for my single wireless laptop. The four wired ports worked fine but the wireless signal would just quit for no reason and the wirelss connection would not...
