As Good As It Gets.

I had very specific needs when it came time to find an iron to replace the useless lightweight model that mercifully died. 
I sew and quilt, and needed an iron for pressing seams open, as well as general ironing. 
Teflon coated irons are garbage gimmicks; I needed a metal soleplate that can stand up to cleaning.  I needed a heavy weight iron so I didn't have to muscle the thing to get a crease.  I needed something with precise heat control.  I needed extra steam.  
I wanted a quick warm up and cool down with a decent length cord and no unnecessary gimmicks. 

I was leery of some of the digital features, and I have no doubt that this will limit the life of the iron to that of most digital electronics (3-5 years, max) but since simple irons are now merely cheaply made irons, I decided to trust the reviews and go with the most cost-effective choice.  Glad I did.

The iron heats up fast, and signals when temperature is attained.  There is no guessing as to what setting to use. 
If you read the instructions and follow them, this iron works as advertised, and irons beautifully. 
I always turn the machine off AND unplug it, out of habit.  I live in an area with high mineral content, so I use distilled or RO water most of the time.  I clean it in accordance with instructions, and if you can't find your instructions, just go online and you'll find a pdf of the instructions. 

I've had it for a little less than a year, and it's served me consistently well.  I enjoy using this tool as it does exactly what it was designed to do, and makes the work easier for me.  You don't have to use pressure to get a nice crease...the weight of the machine alone is enough to do the job.  It doesn't spit, or drip.  If it turns off when I go back to the sewing machine, all I need to do is jostle the machine as I approach it, and while I arrange the sewing/laundry on the board, it reheats.  I've not been as annoyed by the auto shut off as I feared I would.  It's a good energy-saving feature. 
 
I have arthritis in my hands/thumbs, no cartilage in my wrists, and ruptured discs in my back.  This iron is easier to use than the lightweight models that require pressure to iron a crease.  All you need is to loosely grasp the handle and ease it forward.  It glides smoothly and without resistance.  Not hard to use at all.
This is the right sized and weight of tool for the job it was intended.  Do yourself a favor and get one.
