stick to reliable coffee grinder brands
Pros:
It looks cool, if that matters
Cons:
Does NOT grind coffee consistently and finely. Removeable cup does more harm than good.
The Bottom Line:
This Cuisinart Coffee Grinder is offensive. It looks pretty and well made, but it doesnt deliver the goods, or grinds.

Author's Review
My Dad had a Krups coffee grinder for 15 years, then he replaced it with a Braun, which has been going strong for close to 10 years. My Mom still uses it every day, it still blends uniformly fine grounds every time, albeit loudly. I stupidly bought this "fancy" looking Cuisinart grinder, I guess I was attracted to the removable stainless steel cup feature, which turned out to be more time consuming then just using a smaller grinder and picking up the whole thing to dump the grinds in my filter. The removable cup is a useless feature for coffee users, especially if your rushing off to work. Far more importantly, this grinder does NOT do the one thing it is supposed to - grind coffee consistently. After holding down the button for over a minute, the coffee is still coarse and inconsistently ground, and brews a terrible, bitter cup of coffee. Compared to my 8 dollar Proctor and Silex, which recently died on me, I find it completely unacceptable that this 30 dollar machine couldnt grind coffee as well as an 8 dollar piece of crap. I am returning mine tommorrow, hopefully for a full refund, and going straight to Target to buy that good ole dependable Braun my Dad used.
