DeLonghi DE400P Dehumidifier

I purchased this product because it was energy star rated, because of the Fresh zone filter and the brand. I already had bad luck with a Whirlpool which I had to return and thus I decided to spend on a top of the line product. Since I had previously purchased a Delonghi and didn't have any problems with it I trusted it would be a good choice. The first one broke even before it got here (something was loose in the machinery). I was stubborn enough to go for my second one thinking it was just bad luck! Unfortunately the second one didn't even work at all!! You can only send them to authorized dealers and there were none in my city or even within a 30 mile radius! I gave up on Delonghi!
It is not worth the trouble!
Avoid it at all costs. I am still looking for a good dehumidifier!
