Better Oven Than Toaster

I must admit that I purchased this toaster oven strictly for it's looks. I found it on-line at Goodmans.net. It was love at first sight - this appliance is adorable! In addition, my new kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and I am obsessed with having everything match. That being said, I use my toaster oven FREQUENTLY and it would be hard to manage if this appliance didn't do it's job!

There are three knobs, one to set the temperature for baking, one for toasting and one to choose broil or bake/toast. If you attempt to toast while the third knob is set for broil, your toast (or muffin or bagel) will barely toast. I learned that the hard way. When you need to get your bagel toasted while you are putting on your eye make-up so you can get out of the house already - you better have that knob on TOAST/BAKE!

I make A LOT of quickie meals in my toaster oven. It bakes and broils flawlessly and quickly. It also has a large capacity - I HAVE roasted a whole chicken in there & it came out great. It heats up in a flash and looks good while doing it! =)

My one complaint is the way actual toast comes out. It has "grill" lines that are well done with less toasted spaces in the middle. I have tried every setting and position to no avail. I solved this problem by purchasing the Delonghi 4 Slice Retro Toaster. But I will save those comments for another review!!
