We are addicted to it!

About four years ago I started seeing commercials for the the Magic Bullet and it caught my interest. I thought that it was so neat I had to record a commerical so that my husband could see it. My husband (who loves to cook) was excited about it and told me to buy one. I was a little scared of the TV price so I went to check on ebay to see what they were selling for. At the time they were having a buy one get one free on TV so there many people selling their extra one for half the price. I got it brand new for about fifty dollars on ebay.

When the package arrived I was excited to open it. It came with 21 pieces. The 21 pieces isn't as exciting as it sounds because most are just lids. But away way it came with;

- One Power Base (Which is the main part of it that plugs into the wall, and does all the work. It is a gray color with a black base and it doesn't have any buttons. It is about the size around as a cup. There for it is nice and small on the counter.)

- One Cross Blade (This one is the blade we mostly use. It is good for blending things like drinks and meats. The only problem is that we use this one so much it is always dirty in the dishwasher.)

- One Flat Blade (Which is used for grinding hard things like coffee beans. We like it but we don't drink coffee every day and it grinds enough coffee beans at once that they last us a while.)

- One Tall Cup (This is another item that we always use all the time. It is good for everything unless you are only making a very small amount of something.)
- One Short Cup (We don't seem to use it very much but it good when you only need a small amount of something like party dips.)

- Two Shaker/Steamer Tops (Each one has different size holes to be able to shake different items out of such as spices or cheese. Ether one works well as a steamer top when you want to put anything in the microwave.)

- Two Stay-Fresh fresh lids (These we use all the time to put leftovers in the refrigerator. They do not leak and they work very well.)

- Four Party Mugs (They are cups with handles on them for frozen drinks. They are also about the same size as the tall cup so when the tall cup is dirty we just use one of the mugs to mix food in.)

- Four Comfort Lip Rings (Because everything is blended right on the blade there are rings around the lip of the cups. These cover up the rings so that it is comfortable to drink right out of the cup that your drink was just made in. They come in different colors (red, blue, yellow and green) so that you know which cup is yours.)

- One blender (They call it a blender but it is more like a pitcher that hooks onto one of the blades which turns the Magic Bullet into a blender. It is larger then the cups but smaller then a actual blender. It is not as big as they say.)

- One blender lid (Makes it easy to pour out drinks but sometimes leaks while you are blending drinks.)

- A two piece juicer set (Which actually works pretty well but blends all of whatever you fruit or vegetables you put it it though. Therefore it isn't as thin as juice but I think its healthier.)


The Magic Bullet is easy to use but one thing you have to remember is not to run it for more then one minute at a time. Our blender lasted us about 3 years before it stop working. But we loved it so much we went out and bought another one. The second time it only cost about thirty dollars because we already had the juicer.

The only other problem we had with the Magic Bullet was on the first one. There is a rubber ring around the blade to keep it from leaking and they both broke in a couple of months. I ended up buying a bunch strong replacement rings for a couple of dollars on ebay. One the second Magic Bullet we bought they had up dated the rings to
stronger ones.

Over all we use the Magic Bullet a couple of things a week. We make drinks, smoothies, ground meat and chop things. We like that it is small and quick. I also love that everything can go in the dishwasher.
