Author's Review

This is one book I have read out of a whole lot of books stating the true picture of hell and the consequences of sin to man. The book does not try to paint a hopeless situation for the living soul (man), rather it seeks to tell man that there is yet life after death and man should be concerned where he spends it.

The author used a lot of imagery in her presentation since she is only trying within her human capacity to explain a lot of mystery and wisdom well beyond her imagination and knowledge. This is not a work of fiction as there are Biblical references which those who are familiar with the Holy Scripture (The Bible) would readily attest to.Baxter is able to paint a picture of Hell as a very dark place full of in-explainable heat, disgusting and unbearable smell.

The setting of course is Hell beneath and the theme is very clear and the author makes no pretence in driving home her points. Emotions are in no way betrayed, and there is no hiding the fact that profit was not the motive behind the book. In comparison to other works of fiction, this book is not written to entertain the readers but to educate the readers.

Baxter’s strongest weapon is her ability to present the Supreme judge who is also her host in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ as a merciful and compassionate individual whom in spite of rejection and all the pain and shame of the Cross still showed a lot of pity for souls already lost. On quite a number of occasions, the host (Christ) had to shed tears to the lost while sending a warning to the rest of the world.

Talking about the book cover, aside from the caption, nothing to attract the average reader. I have seen many Christian book covers before this one and I dare say that Baxter can do a lot better than this one. To further convince me that she can do a lot better, I make reference to her book titled “Divine Revelation of Heaven” and “He came to set the Captive free” by Dr. Rebecca Brown.

On a score of 1-10, I think I will score her a deserved 8 for presentation, 8 for book content and 9 for use of imagery. This book is highly recommended to every individual who is lost as to the issue of life after death and to all who seems to be living their lives as if there is no tomorrow.

Thank you
