Dyson Animal Vacuum

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product for it incredible suction power and ease of use.
This product was given to me as a gift. The vacuum that I had was working fine - or so I thought until I lit up this new Dyson. The suction on this machine is amazing. I couldn't believe what came up from the carpet. The bagless feature is nice, my other vacuum had a bag. It is kind of fulfilling to "see" what comes up and know that the floor is getting deep down clean. I do wish that the handle was a little longer - I am a tall person and find lots of things would be a little better if the handle were higher.
The attachments are great and the suction when using them is just as good. The handle has the ability to be transformed into a tool in itself and give you the ability to be able to use the
Dyson as a canister type vacuum when used in this manner. It makes short work out of hard to reach overhead areas as well as crevices and corners on the floor. The plug in cord is generous in length.
The weight and bulkiness of the vacuum is not bad considering all the power you are getting in return. Like all vacuums it would be nice for it to be lighter, but I would not exchange that for the suction power it contains!
Cost of the vacuum is a little pricey at $500. Well worth the price however when you consider it has great attachments, long cord, and incredible pick up power with the exclusive Dyson motor.
