I'd be shunned and sent to KKK if I said I was better..

Don't let the title get you wrong, I'm not a supremacist, and I'm all for equal rights. I simply feel that it is unfair for a magazine such as this to target a specific group of people and try to promote them, while other (white) people aren't allowed to say a word supporting themselves - because that's racism.
This epinion is not meant to display my political views, it's just to let you know the mindset I had when I began to read it. In fact, the first thing that popped in my mind was, "If I had a magazine named Ivory, I'd be sued from here to China..". Mind you, this is an opinion, so I don't HAVE to be objective if I don't want..
I open up the magazine, and I'm greeted by the smiling face of a gorgeous black woman. So far, it looks like a regular issue of People.. I flip the pages, and get advice on hair, fashion, read articles on actors, musicians, comedians (all black people, of course), etc.
After I read some more, I had to admit, the magazine was pretty good. African Americans got some pretty awesome hair tips, and got to read all sorts of interesting information.
I honestly would recommend this magazine as an actual reading magazine, but can not give it a 5 star rating, due to the fact that I think it's unfair for one culture to promote themselves, while another would be labeled prejudice for life. I think our culture just adores giving into the minority, and it's really not fair.
Some may say that my opinion of the actual basis of the magazine has nothing to do with the magazine, but that's wrong. Many lines in the magazine had phrases to further support the fact that the editors think their culture is superior to that of caucasians. It would be okay with me if i was allowed to do it, but I think that magazines of this type shouldn't be allowed on the market, due to the inequality that they inevitably breed.
