Great for hard floors, not so good on carpet

This is a nice vacuum if all you are going to do is vacuum hardwoods or similar floors. Take it onto carpet and you are in for a long haul. Look elsewhere if you need a stick vacuum for carpet. Additionally dumping the trash and cleaning the filter could be a little more streamline.
