As I slaved away this summer at Heaven Hill Distillery, I thought to myself, "This job is not a bad one at all." Since I have had the privilage to work there and be raised around it, I have an appriciation for a good bourbon.
Since my father has been working at Heaven Hill for 30 years, I have been around many types of bourbons, whiskeys, etc. And, since I am at an age to write about them now, I thought that I would tell you a little bit about Elijah Craig Bourbon. I made this stuff all summer, and it was one of our best selling bourbons. It is a bit pricey, but you definately get your money's worth. Many people say that the wood refined taste is what makes it so good, or how its smooth in flavor. I just like the bottle. It looks great atop any bar or cabinet.
