My wife and I have moved onto using a charging system for batteries used in our digital cameras. She has a charging system and I have one too. The second system is for when I'm away on business. Both charging systems work well with these batteries. Both are made by the Energizer people. One allows for a slow charge but as fast as one hour while the other can charge batteries in fifteen minutes according to packaging but a half hour gives a full good charge that last well for our needs.
I mention the amount of time to charge the batteries because that faster time allows more versatility with rechargeable batteries. I need to know I can charge them for quick turnover at the end of a day.
These batteries do get us through a very full day of using our cameras. We use the camera all day taking dozens and even hundreds of photos. To add to that, my wife is forever checking and deleting photos and constantly opening and closing the camera and she still has power left. When we get home or back to our hotel room we put them back in the charger and in just a little while they are ready to work again.
These AA batteries state they are 2500Mah on the side of them. I don't know what that means but I do know they are perfect for our digital camera needs. According to what I have read these batteries can be recharged up to a thousand times and the way we have charged our batteries we have done so hundreds of times without the smallest inkling that they are losing power. That's all I need to know!!
I have never had one of these batteries fail me yet and that's with well over a years use.
We don't use these batteries in games because we may not play them often enough and rechargeable batteries do lose a small percentage of their power every day not used. They lose much more than standard batteries do. That said, they are much more economical over a long run than regular batteries for our kind of use. That's why we started with them and continue to use them and their charging systems.
