Being an employee at one of Maryland and Howard County's finest bakeries, I decided that our shop needed a vacuum that wasn't a ShopVac, but wasn't a DustBuster. Low and behold, there was the Eureka mighty mite.
Our storefront was a cafe type area, in which customers had origional country french bistro tables and cherry wood captains chairs for seating. The storefront had wonderful ambiance, but needed a good vacuum for cleaning up hair, dirt, and most of all - FLOUR!
There was flour everywhere - all over our tables, pictures, everywhere! So, when I asked if the management would allow me to buy a new vacuum, they agreed and even paid me for the expense.
So, one friday night, the other employees and myself decided to hang for a while and try out our new vacuum. We had a blast! This vacuum was great, and was easy to use!
The Eureka Might Mite is a typical canister vacuum. It contains a large canister that hold a 12.0 amp vacuum motor, and a large dust and dirt bag that is easy to snap in and out for changing.
The canister is connected to a 4 1/2 foot hose that is crush proof and rather flexable.
The handle of the EMM has a suction control tip, that enables the user to control how powerful the suction is. It connects to a 4 foot extension pole that has a basic floor tool on it. The floor tool has two large rear wheels that don't scar your flooring. The floor tool has a button on top to engage a brush for carpets or to lift the brush for hard surfaces. The floor tool can move 360 degrees, so manuvering around tables and such is a snap!
The EMM also has two tools - a crevice tool, and a dusting brush. We used both to clean out our bread slicing machine, and to clean all the flour off of our pictures and such.
The EMM was a wonderful investment. The bakery was overwhelmed with pride that saturday when the customers came in, and everything was spotless. For 69.99, it was a smart buy and will give plety of service for that shop for years to come.
