Shark Euro Steam Iron

The Bottom Line: Based on the packaging, product characteristics and price this product does not live up to name. I will probably never buy any other Shark product.
It was with great pleasure that I watched the Shark being compressed by our Garbage Truck today. This piece of garbage has stained its last piece of clothing at our house. I have had to wash more clothing since I purchased this iron due to staining drips than I dare to count. The iron went out today because I was ironing a shirt and the always present brown drips appeared. Unfortunately my daughter was given the same iron as a shower gift and is experiencing the same dripping problem that I did. I also wished that I had read the unfavorable reviews before purchasing this product. On the side of the iron the following phrases are printed:
VERTICAL STEAM - (with drips of brownish water should be added)
ANTI CALC - This is the only thing I have had no problem with.
ANTI DRIP- Perhaps the iron does not recognize the fact that it is supposed to be ANTI-DRIP and needs to be educated at the factory level.
This product should not be on the shelves for sale especially at the higher end price for irons.
It is sad that I don't even want to deal with the Shark Company (based on some of the negative reviews that I have read on Internet about various products) but have opted to dispose of the iron and go out an purchase a new iron.
