Evenflo Early Baby Carrier: The earlier the better

Date of Review:  Sep 28, 2004
The Bottom Line: A good sling with lots of support for tiny newborns. Older infants probably won't like it.
Review: I have gone through a few baby carriers over the years. However, I had never tried a traditional sling because I was uncomfortable carrying my newborn around in a piece of fabric. I know many people love them but I worried that there was not enough...

Curiosity "killed" the carrier

Date of Review:  Apr 15, 2002
The Bottom Line: Learn what your baby likes, and you'll be able to make the right decision.
Review: This is only the second review that I have attempted, so please forgive me for my amateur abilities. I have been debating whether or not to write a review on this product. I decided, although I only had the Snugli Early Care Carrier for a couple of...

Training wheels on the big bike of baby wearing

Date of Review:  May 14, 2002
The Bottom Line: You'd be better off investing in a traditional design sling that will last for years. Save your receipt or buy second-hand, if this carrier fits your needs.
Review: Evenflo Snugli Early Care Newborn Soft Carrier

I am a firm proponent of carrying baby close, and a sling is a wonderful hands-free way to do it. I was thrilled when I received several different slings at my baby shower, so I could try the...

Not for every baby

Date of Review:  Jul 21, 2002
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend it as it holds the baby smashed up against you and bent forward in an unnatural position.
Review: This carrier was given to me new from a friend who tried it out with her baby and didn't like it. I thought for sure I could make it work. I was wrong.

I was not comfortable with the angle it put my baby in. She was crushed up against me...

Finally A Comfortable Baby Sling

Date of Review:  Oct 9, 2002
The Bottom Line: The softness and flexibility as opposed to other carriers and the ease of using it make up for the cons.
Review: I recieved the Snugli sling as a gift, now I give them as gifts at baby showers! It has a ingenious safety buckle with not only adjustable velcro but plastic buckles as well. It is as simple to adjust while wearing, I loosen it all the way then put...

Worst baby carrier investment!

Date of Review:  Jan 23, 2004
The Bottom Line: Stay away from this sling at all costs! Buy a maya wrap!
Review: When I was pregnant with my son, I wanted what I thought was the "best" in a baby carrier, especially for nursing. I thought the snugli early care sling was the perfect answer to all my needs.

The concept is actually a good one. The...

My Snugli Early Care is Great for my Newborn Boy

Date of Review:  Apr 27, 2005
The Bottom Line: For any mother who wants to keep her newborn close and know that he or she is more secured in this item than in a regular sling.
Review: I tried all sorts of carriers for my newborn and this one fit the bill for his first 4 months ( up to 15lbs.) I liked it because 1) His face is not covered by fabric so I know he can breathe and he can see me better. 2) I like that there is some...

No Go for C-Sections

Date of Review:  Aug 11, 2007

Snugli goes south

Date of Review:  Dec 6, 2003
