Product Review

Take Me Too Tandem

by   epinionsbmc ,   Apr 28, 2007

Pros:  light weight, folds up easy, nice to shop with

Cons:  front seat cannot reasonably hold a toddler, front canopy is designed poorly, no cup holders

The Bottom Line:  Recommended if your toddler is tiny and could fit into the front. Infant seat fits great in the back, the handle bar can hit your toddler in the head.

Overall Rating: 3/5 stars

Author's Review

The stroller was excellent for shopping, never needed a shopping cart just filled up the basket underneath and piled stuff on top. Fit reasonably well down most isles in most stores. We have a separate double in step for walks, so our tandem was used only for shopping, and it worked well just for that purpose. However we sold it today because I was completely fed up with the front seat. It was totally flimsy and we had to cram our 18 month old into it and her feet dangled lower then the foot rest. The front canopy was a joke. It didn't even open over her head, it does not go up high enough it would just hit her in the back of the head, and also was about to break off and we only had it for two months. Our model could hold the infant car seat in front or back, but when we tried to put our toddler in back and infant car seat in front, the stroller was ridiculously long and hard to push. Also there was no snack tray in the rear seat for a toddler. There was no cup holders for the parent which was a huge pain. I had to buy a universal one but it never fit nicely. But as far as tandem strollers go, it folded up REALLY easy and was pretty light weight and fit in the back of our mini van very nicely. My toddler screamed and hated being in this stroller.
