This is the best game Final Fantasy Ever!

The Bottom Line: This game is the best Final Fantasy to date and it will be for a long time.
Final Fantasy 7 is a great game to play. The plot is great, at first about an ex-soldier fighting as a mercenary. As the game goes on it goes into the "save the Planet" mode. The story of two ex-soldiers going at each other's throats to either save the world or destroy the world and become a god. There are no "skills" to learn so to speak, but there are materias to master. The materia gives each character their own special powers and magic spells. There are many spells to learn. The spells range from from green materia(magic) which does the standard "bolts" and "fires". Then to yellow materia(command) which is special effects like "slash-all" and "double-cut". Then to blue materia(effect) which enhances the powers of the materia it is with, warning this works only in a double slot, like "all" and "MP absorb". Then to red materia(summon) which is the best attack materia. This allows you to call monsters from the "otherside" to help you fight bosses and monsters. This materia also holds the most powerful spell of all, Knights of the Round, this is awesome in that it deals the most damage and hits the enemy many times. The "limits" are in this Final Fantasy, powerful skills learned as you go up levels in the game. The limits are done by, basically, getting beat up. When your character is down he\she can do a limit, if the gauge is full. This may be the winning hit\hits for your side. There are also some mini-quests in the game. There are two special characters to get, Yuffie and Vincent. These two I never used but they are good fighters none-the-less. There are also many "Final" weapons to get, well one for each character. These weapons are the strongest in the whole game and best to be equiped with "mastered" materia because they have no growth. There is also a carnival there too, The Gold Saucer. This place is cool because there is some much to do. There are many rare items and materias to be won here. A real challenge but really fun. This game is the brightest star in the Final Fantasy sky and it will be for a long time. But I hope it isn't. Any game that is better than Final Fantasy 7 would be the best RPG game ever made.
