Fisher & Paykel Refrigerator

We've had our Fisher Paykel fridge for several months now and of course only time will tell regarding relialbilty and/or servicablility. However we're extremely pleased with its looks & performance so far. We bought the model with ice & water through the door and utilize the qucik chill & quick freeze features frequently. The fit & finish is flawless-- excellent quality. For a lower-priced upscale fridge I feel you get a lot of bang for the buck and its sleek look is wonderful for a smaller kitchen. My brother (a high-end designer) recommended this fridge after i admired his new LeBoere(sp?) German fridge. Less than half the price of his fridge, the Fisher & Pakel-- although smaller-- has a better designed freezer drawer layout, with actual trays on which large heavy duty lexan drawers fit and pull out smoothly on ball-bearing glides. The overall design was undoubtedly "borrowed" from LeBoere (sp!) and much improved upon.
