LOVE IT

Traded my 2003 Explorer Sprt XLT 2WD for my 2005 Escape Limited 4x4. I've had it for 5 months now and put 13,000 miles including a 1500 mile trip from Virginia (where I bought it) to Texas (where I live). I LOVE the ride. It handles MUCH better than my Explorer. The engine is zippy enough. The leather seats are great. The moonroof is great. Sounds system is great. I've not had a chance to test out the 4x4 but winter is coming and we are bound to get our once a winter snow.

I was a little concerned about cargo capacity when I bought the Escape as I travel with my two Great Danes but they did great on the trip from Virginia and the several trips I've done around Texas. It's much roomier than it appears.
