Space, the final, um... LINE!

Let's make this simple and quick.

If you're not a Trek fan or a Sci Fi fan, this movie will likely disappoint you. It's well acted and humorous, but quite frankly if you don't enjoy or even understand the context of the humor, then you're missing most of the movie.

If, however, you ARE a fan of Trek (Original Series primarily) or you're a general Sci Fi fan, then you will appreciate the comedic approach that this movie delivers.

I have to admit, when I wife brought this one home, I cringed. But to my absolute delight, my sides were splitting with delight at the continual and relevant insertion of Trek dialogue into most of the scenes.

I have a new found appreciation for the "Space Hippies", er, "The Way to Eden" after just one quick scene (You'll know it when it happens).

I'm not one to discuss the plot of a movie. I feel that's best left for the viewer. But I will say that this little gem is very well acted, very believable and a movie you'll likely want to watch several times just to catch all of the subtle context and dialogue.

If you have the means, obtain the DVD version as it has many many extras including 30 mins of additional footage, behind the scenes looks, outtakes, Making Of, and more...

Rent or buy, it's well worth a sitting...
