Space Age Cooking Is Here

Date of Review:  Jun 1, 2007
The Bottom Line: I do like the Frigidaire 31 in. GLEC30S8 Electric Cooktop, but it has some serious problems.

Definitely Not an Appliance for a Fraternity

Date of Review:  Apr 21, 2004
The Bottom Line: Not for serious cooks or lax house cleaners.
Review: The salesman said it was easy to clean -- just wipe it off with a damp sponge. My wife bought it...literally.

The old electric coil cooktop which was probably 10 years old when we moved in ten years ago finally died. We weren't ready to...

Looks great, cooks great, pain to keep clean

Date of Review:  Sep 3, 2004
The Bottom Line: Great for a showplace kitchen, not so great for a working kitchen.
Review: We bought this as part of a kitchen remodel. Like most folks, we wanted something that would be easy to clean. I hated pulling the old range apart to clean beneath the elements if anything boiled over. (I even got to the point of buying new element...

Warning: Ceramic tops shatter easily! Not warrantied!

Date of Review:  Oct 22, 2004
Review: Before you buy a Frigidaire ceramic stove, know that the tops can break easily. My daughter leaned on mine and the top shattered. The stove is just three months old, and Frigidaire won't cover it under warranty because it's "customer-caused"...
