Excellent camera for price!

We recently purchased the Fuji FinePix Digital Camera to upgrade to newer technology from a digital camera that was over three years old. The difference has been amazing! The greatest benefit has been the picture quality and clarity - we have been extremely impressed with the amount of features that this camera carries for the price range that it is in. We found this camera offered the best zoom capabilities of anything in it's price class. It is extremely easy to use although we would recommend purchasing a small tripod if you want to really make the most of using the full zoom range. It is great for anyone who considers themselves an amatuer photographer and wants to explore there creativity, especially if wanting to do scenery shots, but aren't quite read to make the financial commitment to buying a Digital SLR camera. My husband is an excellent photographer and has been testing the features out and enjoying the additional capabilities of the FinePix over and above your standard point and shoot digital camera. The only downside of having this camera is that it is not as easy to carry around - compared to today's pocket size digital camera's on the market. We have still had to buy a case and take an older camera for such activities as skiing where you just want a camera in the pocket.
