Excellent Camera

I am taking a digital photography class at school and I recently purchased this camera. I carried it to the instructor and asked his opinion of the camera. He says that Fujifilm makes and excellent digital camera and that the fact that it is only 5.1 mp is no problem. For most people, unless you are a professional this camera will give you excellent photographs. The pro's of this camera is that it can be set to fully automatic or it can be set to manual, where you decide the f-stops,aperature, and iso's. You can get some very beautiful shallow depth phots's and you can get some greter depth photos by using larger f-stop settings. You can also get all sorts of special effects photo's too by lengthening the time the shutter is open through adjustments to shutter speed. The color is absolutely beautiful and you can also set your camera to take black and white photo's. This camera has numerous adjustments for the person who likes to use manual settings and you can adjust white balance. Her are some of the specs of this camera;
White balance, self-timer,built in flash, View finder,LCD monitor, Movie setting, photograhy functions, playback functions. It also has PictBridge,Exif print,Print image matching II,Language settings,Time difference,and fine pix photo mode. It uses 4 AA batteries. It comes with standard 55mm lense.It has a built in light meter for manual settings and auto. It has bracketing as well. It also uses the xD memory card and accepts the new "m" style card too. I am using a 1 gb memory card, which gives me over 800 photographs using the next to highest resolution setting, which you can adjust for your personal preference. I am very satisfied with this camera and with the 5.1 mp, I can take quality photo's up to 8x10 size.
