The Bottom Line:
If you have to match your GE washer, go ahead and buy it.

I have had this dryer for over a year now.
I had to purchase it as a "pair" when I needed a
new washer.
Firstly, anything larger than a shirt is rolled into
a huge, damp in the middle, ball. I have to stop the load
and pull everything apart by hand and restart the load.
Bed sheets are a real pain!
My old, cheapy, dryer had an automatic reverse so I never had to do this.
Then there is the lint trap... It is hands down dangerous.
When I noticed the loads were not drying as quickly as they had been, I discovered my outside vent cover almost fully blocked with lint from the inside of the vent pipe. I have to crawl under my porch after every three or so uses and pull the plate off and clear it. It is -10F here today. To say this is a minor inconvenience would be an understatement.
The lint trap is so poorly designed that lint passes behind the trap in large quantities. The area behind the trap is so narrow it is virtually impossible to get a vacuum nozzle in to clear it out. I should not have to do this anyway! I am hoping for a "fix" to appear or the class action suit. Whichever comes first.
Just can't wait until warmer weather. Then I can use my cloths line!
