LIFE of the past greatly missed!

I found a great deal at an online store to get The Game of LIFE for my PC. I grew up on this game and was so excited about it. I have always loved board games.
This PC game has many of the same features as the board game, but I must say, I was kind of disappointed. The game itself has terrific graphics, lots of color, many options, it's a cool game, but I just didn't think it allowed you to interact enough.
You choose a color/player, etc... press a button to spin and that's it. You can't move your own car, you can't see very far ahead to see where you are going or what you are close to, like you could by having an overview of the actual game board when playing the real game... I just like the FUN of interacting and PLAYING the game and I just believe this one is a little TOO computerized.
I must say, I have managed to beat the computer in every game that I have played. It's fun to win... I just wish I could do the winning myself instead of the computer doing it all.
I have switched to computer board games because I can't find anyone who enjoys the classic board games like I do. For that reason, I'll continue to play computerized games like LIFE.
Don't get me wrong... this is an excellent game. The quality of this game is terrific. It's just not enough for my game cravings. I just feel like I sit there and watch instead of sitting there and playing. See for yourself. You can't go wrong when a classic game is involved!
