Ceramic heater review.

The Bottom Line: Low cost ceramic space heater that puts out alot of heat. Good ceramic space heater for garage or work shop.
The honeywell electric ceramic space heater does a good job for the price. Simple easy to use just plug it in and find the setting you like.
I bought this ceramic heater over a year ago for a large room with vaulted ceilings. The room has a real fireplace with real stone and alot of doors and windows. This makes it cold in the winter since the fireplace stone gets cold from the outside. This ceramic heater could heat this room up in under 15 minutes and then turn off for 20 or 30 minutes until more heat was needed. It would run for 5 to 10 minutes then shut off.
I paid $35 for the ceramic heater new. I used it for a few months then bought another heater for that room. The honeywell space heater works good and does a good job of heating the room. I like to watch tv in this room and the heater was too loud to enjoy tv with.
The heater is very simple and compact made of plastic with a metal screen that covers the ceramic heating element. It has no on or off switch just one dial for temperature control and power light. I use a power strip with this heater so i can just turn it off instead of unpluging it all the time. The heater has very good heat but the fan makes it too loud for most people. The space heater uses 1500 watts so make sure to run it on a electric line with no refrigerator or it will trip the breaker.
I bought a new holmes ceramic heater for that room and moved the honeywell heater to the basement in a exercise room. I listen to music so i do not hear it run as much as i did watching tv. I also use it in the garage and it works great keeping it warm in the cold weather.
The 2 problems i have with this ceramic heater are no on off switch or any numbers on temperature. The fan is the second problem it is too loud for watching tv or talking to other people.
I would buy this ceramic heater for my garage or basement again. It puts out very good heat and heats a room fast. I would not buy it for any room i want to talk to other people or watch tv.
