Author's Review
If you are into performance boating, this magazine is a "Must Have". I have been an avid reader of Hot Boat for over five years, and they just keep getting better! Regardless if you are into outboard engine's, stern-drive, V-drive, or jet propulsion, this magazine has you covered. The first thing you will notice when you pick up an issue of Hot Boat, is the very vivid and colorful photography...from the front cover to the last page. The departments are also second to none, with articles such as "Observer's Seat", "Rampside", "A Day at the Shop", "High Performance", "Reader Rides", and a very informative column on all possibilities of power. With all magazines, there are advertisement's...usually too many, which really doesn't pertain to what you are interested in. If you are truly into "Hot Boats", you will find the vast majority of advertisement's interesting and informative. Every advertisement is packed with high performance products...transom jack's, props, guages, safety item's, performance engine part's, etc. The list goes on. If it has to do with speed, it's in there. There are many Boating magazines on the magazine rack's pertaining to many different aspect's of boating, and I am not taking anything away from those publication's, but if you are a total "Speed-Junkie", you simply cannot go wrong with Hot Boat Magazine.
