Unbeatable for the Price.

I bought this device for the reason most people would. This would be to conserve space.

I just bought a new Dell server to replace my old Dell server, and at the time I did not want to get rid of the old one right away. But also did not want to have two monitors sitting on my desk.

After looking around for a KVM switch at an affordable price and not to difficult to use I found this one. Of all the KVM switches I have used in the past. That might a have either been too bulky or required software. With this one all you have to do is set it up, look threw the manual on how to make it switch between the two (Hit Scroll Lock Twice) and that’s it.

I am using a new Dell Power Edge 840 server and an old Power Edge 300sc with the new 17’ Dell monitor. Resolution handling is great when switching between the two servers which have two different resolutions due to the video cards capabilities. And for the price ($39.99) that I got it at is unbeatable.

The only gripe I have with this product is the length of the cable. You figure that if you are looking to share one monitor and keyboard and mouse with two computers, you are not going to place them 5ft apart.
