Better Than I'd Even hoped for!!!!

After burning through an average of one blender per year, and spending more and more for a blender each time, (the last one I purchased was a Cuisinart for $150.00) I finally decided to bite the bullet and invest in a REAL blender. The only question: should I buy a Vitamix or a K-tec? After reading about the pros and cons of each, I finally decided on the K-tec and I couldn't be happier!!! The power, (more horsepower than the Vitamix) size, (fits beneath the kitchen cabinets on my countertop whereas the Vitamix is too tall) ease of use, and ease of cleaning all make using this blender a dream! I make frozen smoothies every morning and I could no longer afford to be without a blender, even for one day. The blade assembly on my Cuisinart kept breaking and although they were wonderful about replacing the part, I would have to wait a week or more each time to receive it in the mail. I was also getting tired of having to pry the blender base and jar apart each time for cleaning, and having to stop and start the blender repeatedly to remix the contents by hand in order to get everything blended. Ktec-s customer service is fabulous, too and you cannot beat their 10-year warranty!!!!
