OK for the first 3 months.

I had this sub hooked up by a professional. It sounded OK. Nothing to brag about. It definately added more bass. After 3 mohths the passive radiator blew out. Now the sub, sounds like it's farting all the time. I used to have some Kickers subwoofers when I was younger and they were very reliable(ran 3 years with no problems) but I got too many sound tickets so I got rid of them. There are better options out there. I'm going to go with a small JL audio 8 inch sub instead now. Also, look into Focal subwoofers. They are very tiny.
