2003 KIA OPTIMA
Date of Review: Mar 24, 2004
The Bottom Line: Buy it.With its Big, Quiet engine that handles good on the road with features you would not find on a car in its price category why not?
pros: Big roomy car. Quiet engine handles good on the road. Features you would not find on a car in its price category (except its partner company Hyundai
Cons: Its a kia. Cheep side moldings Weak/small engine on the base model.DEFINATLY NOT BETTER THAN ITS COMPETETOR (ACCORD)!
I had a 1988 Honda accord LXI for 16 years!! it finally gave out on me so I asked my grandson (a car wiz) what car should I get for about 19,000 he told me a Kia Optima. I went to the Kia dealer the next week and test drove it I LOVED IT!! so quiet and soothe on the road. I bought it the next day with 3 miles on it 1 of them from my test drive. a week later I opened the door and herd a loud snap I closed the door and found that the side moldings broke off it was held by 2 little things that look liked x'es I took it to a dealer and they ordered me new side molding and said it would be in in about 2 weeks. 2 weeks past by and I went back they ordered the wrong color they did this 3 more time 2 month later I got the part. I have had the car for a year now and I love it thanks Kia.
