This was the first of many cloth diapers I used. Kushies ultra are inexpensive, but for a reason. If your not planning to want to pass your cloth diapers on to another baby or person, they are a cheap alternative to buying disposables and of course, being cloth are more natural for your baby. However, these diapers have a mediocre fit around the legs.. good enough, not great. Also, the velcro tabs kept getting tangled with each other in the washer/dryer which was a pain to untangle. They take a long time to dry, and so you cant really hang them to dry (mine got really stiff as well when I did this). Also, after normal to heavy use with one baby, the waterproof outer maybe wasnt so waterproof. So I would say that they last through one baby. Then they might not be so reliable as far as the waterproof outer.. I soon switched to other brands of cloth diapers and sold off my Kushies ultra stash. Dont regret trying them for $5 each (ebay) but didnt stay with them. Their are softer, higher quality, snap on diapers that I prefer and had the budget for.
