Pros: Very powerful. Really moves the air. Compact size.

Cons: Can be kind of loud but not overbearingly so.

We have owned the Lakewood HV9 fan for years and just love it. I would love to get another one. It's mighty powerful for one so small and all our friends are envious of us. We originally bought this fan for circulation when we lived in a place that was small and didn't have air conditioning on a regular basis. It really circulates the air even on the lowest setting but on the higher settings (Med and High) it can get kind of loud but, not the earsplitting, have to yell to be heard loud. It's like medium loudness white noise. Once you get used to it you hardly hear it anymore and it can actually be quite soothing and help you get to sleep.
