Logitech G25 ... Your FERRARI mounted on table ...

The Bottom Line: If you think RS Shifter is too old to race with new improved AI's and your friends over the world, go and get a G25 !!!
As a gaming fan, I was too waiting for a game controller which will provide the quality handling like thrustmaster series, compatibility of Microsoft Sidewinder and mostly the manual shifting feature of Actlabs RS Shifter until 2 weeks. I get my G25 two weeks before and I have decided to share my first impressions with you.
First of all the wheel’s leather is soft and slightly padded, and the stitching is quite nicely done as well. There are two raised areas at the 10 and 2 o’clock positions for added feel and precise wheel positioning. The shifter knob is also wrapped in leather, as is the included shifter boot which effectively hides a polished steel shifter stalk.
The pedals present themselves with stainless steel faces, studded by black plastic grip dots, and have exposed retaining hardware that indicates they could be removed and replaced should anyone offer third-party pedal faces for this product.
Realistic Force Feedback effects, provided by two powerful motors, are the best in its class with fully-compatible titles. (I am not sure about older titles, as you guess I do not have chance to test it with all racing titles). Some titles like Mercedes Benz World Racing have some minor issues with G25. If you are just playing a few specific titles, do not forget to check compatibility of G25 with your games.
I also want to tell you some about the wingman software; you can easily make adjustments to configure G25 for your favorite racing simulations. If your game is listed in wingmans pre-configured button configurations, you can make your game compatible with G25 by just double clicking appropriate configuration.
G25, and so wingman software for G25 are new in gaming industry. So you can come up to bugs, and software errors during installation and while using the software. Do not forget to update your software regularly, if you want performance from a two hundred bucks toy.
As an ex-RS Shifter user, I am very happy with my G25. This gaming console gives me unique gaming pleasure with titles listed above ; (This is also my list of G25 compatible games) 1. NFS Underground 2. GTR II 3. NFS Carbon 4. Mercedes Benz World Racing 5. Midtown Madness 2 (small problem with steer sensitivity)
